Research
Find the assumption underneath the problem. Map what is known, what is merely repeated, and what evidence would change the decision.
About BLZ Foundry / 00
Break the logic.
Build the proof.
BLZ Foundry is an independent product foundry for ideas that deserve to become real. We research what matters, build what can be tested, and tell the truth about what the evidence says.
BLZ / BROKEN LOGIC ZONEEST. AUSTIN, TX
The foundry / 01
Old logic explains yesterday.
We build what comes next.
A foundry is where raw material becomes something strong enough to use. Ours starts with uncertainty: a stubborn problem, an untested belief, a capability looking for purpose. We apply research, design, engineering, and judgment until there is something real enough to challenge—and useful enough to matter.
Broken Logic Zone / 02
BLZ is not where logic ends.
It is where inherited logic gets questioned.
Every industry accumulates rules that once made sense. Technology changes. People change. The rule stays. The Broken Logic Zone is the moment we stop treating that rule as truth and start testing what the work actually needs now.
Bravery is still part of our DNA: brave enough to test the assumption, show the evidence, and change course when reality disagrees.
How the work moves / 03
Research feeds the foundry.
Research is not a separate performance. It is the learning arm inside every build—the discipline that keeps speed from becoming theater.
Forge
Turn the strongest idea into a focused product, system, or workflow that can meet reality early.
Prove
Test usefulness, economics, risk, and trust. Keep the seams visible and the important decisions human-owned.
Release
Put working things into capable hands, transfer the learning, and leave a trail the next builder can use.
Operating code / 04
Useful over impressive.
Evidence over theater.
Claims should survive contact with reality.
Humans own the decision.
Automate work, never accountability.
Make the seams visible.
Show where evidence ends and judgment begins.
Leave a useful trail.
The learning should outlive the experiment.
The mark / 05
Motion carried forward.
The aerodynamic B carries a visible L and an accelerating Z. The acid Z is the rupture—the instant inherited logic gives way to forward motion. The continuous path remains a reminder that courage is inherited, faith is foundational, and the work should always move forward.
In honor of Antony Jameson.
